Alessandra Antignani after obtaining a degree in Arts/Modern Language acquired experience firstly in the field of buying and selling in the antique trade in Turin in the royal palace of Stupinigi. Then she began her specialist training in the technique of restoration and conservation of polychromatic works on wood and on canvas. She is particularly interested in works calling for precision and manual technical expertise together with acquiring further theorical and practical knowledge. She was formerly employed in the restoration and conservation workshop in the Doria Pamphilj gallery in Rome. At present she is a self employed antique dealer specializing in conservation and restoration of paintings wooden statues guilded objects.
